Dil  kahe , udd chalu aasma mein
Dil  kahe , jhoom loon iss jahan mein

mushkil se milli hai ye zindagi , kyu gawau ek pal bhi khoof se ,,
Prakarti ne liye hai ye imtehaan , Kar dikhau samna mein josh se ..

IF YOU WIN OVER YOUR MIND , YOU WIN OVER WHOLE WORLD.
WE NEED TO SHIFT OUR FOCUS TOWARDS POSITIVE .

Listen to the earth. Listen to your soul.

 ...Stay home  Stay safe...

The earth whispered but you did not hear.
The earth spoke but you did not listen.
The earth screamed but you turned her off.
And so I was born...
Because you didnt Listen

I was not born to punish you..
I was born to awaken you..

The earth cried out for help...

Massive flooding. But you didn't listen.
Burning fires. But you didn't listen.
Strong hurricanes. But you didn't listen.
Terrifying Tornadoes. But you didn't listen.

You still don't listen to the earth when ocean animals are dying due to pollutants in the waters.
Glaciers are melting at an alarming rate.
Severe drought.

You didn't listen to how much negativity the earth is receiving.

Non-stop wars.
Non-stop greed.

You just kept going on with your life.
No matter how much hate there was.
No matter how many killings daily.

It was more important to get that latest iPhone than worry about what the earth was trying to tell you.

But now I am here!

And I've made the world stop on its tracks.
I've made YOU finally listen.
I've made you take refuge.
I've made you stop thinking about materialistic things.

Now you are like the earth...
You are only worried about YOUR survival.

How does that feel?

I gave you fever... as the fires burn on earth.
I gave you respiratory issues... like pollution fill the earth air.
I gave you weakness as the earth weakens every day.

I took away your comforts.
Your outings.
The things you would use to forget about the planet and its pain.

And I made the world stop.

*And now... *

China has better air quality.
Skies are clear blue because factories are not spewing pollution unto the earth's air.

The water in Venice is clean and dolphins are being seen. Because the gondola boats that pollute the water are not being used.

YOU are having to take time to reflect on what is important in your life.

Again I am not here to punish you. I am here to Awaken you.

When all this is over and I am gone, Please remember these moments...

LISTEN

Listen to the earth.
Listen to your soul.
Stop Polluting the earth.
Stop Fighting among each other.
Stop caring about materialistic things.
And start loving your neighbors.
Start caring about the earth and all its creatures.
Start believing in the Creator.

Because next time I may come back even stronger...........

STILL LIFE PAINTING

                       VASE  OF  FLOWERS

still life (plural: still lifes) is a work of art depicting mostly inanimate subject matter, typically commonplace objects which are either natural (food, flowers, dead animals, plants, rocks, shells, etc.) or man-made (drinking glasses, books, vases, jewelry, coins, pipes, etc.).
One advantage of the still-life art form is that it allows an artist a lot of freedom to experiment with the arrangement of elements within a composition of a painting.

Who painted the first still life?

Jacopo de'Barbari
The painting generally considered to be the first still life is a work by the Italian painter Jacopo de'Barbari painted 1504. The “golden age” of still-life painting occurred in the Lowlands during the 17th century.

Still-life paintings often adorn the interior of ancient Egyptian tombs. It was believed that food objects and other items depicted there would, in the afterlife, become real and available for use by the deceased. Ancient Greek vase paintings also demonstrate great skill in depicting everyday objects and animals. Peiraikos is mentioned by Pliny the Elder as a panel painter of "low" subjects, such as survive in mosaic versions and provincial wall-paintings at Pompeii: "barbers' shops, cobblers' stalls, asses, eatables and similar subjects".[4]

This painting includes all kinds of man-made or natural objects, cut flowers, fruit, vegetables, fish, game, wine and so on. Still life can be a celebration of material pleasures such as food and wine, or often a warning of the ephemerality of these pleasures and of the brevity of human life (see memento mori).

The magic of still life paintings is that they can show us a new way of looking at the ordinary objects around us.

The inanimate objects selected for still life art can show cultural, philosophical level, religious, societal, and cultural values. It provokes introspection and a viewer's reflection. It shows multiple emotions and arrangements, citing color, lighting, and handling.

In the hierarchy of genres (or subject types) for art established in the seventeenth century by the French Academy, still life was ranked at the bottom – fifth after history paintingportraituregenre painting (scenes of everyday life) and landscape. Still life and landscape were considered lowly because they did not involve human subject matter.

Modern Art

ALANKAR ART

An alankara is any pattern of musical decoration a musician or vocalist creates within or across tones, based on ancient musical theories or driven by personal creative choices, in a progression of svaras. ... The concept of alankara applies to both vocal and musical instrument performance.

The things which attract you to an artwork.Where you feel pleasure in an artwork. It is not important that you capture reality. More important is what you thought. e.g. Van Gogh - Sunflower painting.“The Logic of Emotion”. Here, I would like to briefly mention that Ânanda linked dhvani torasa and pointed out that as the meaning is suggested, emotions can be suggested (in fact, emotions can only be suggested and cannot be communicated directly, being mental qualities and hence invisible). This was taken further by Abhinava who developed it further in terms of the concept of rasa-dhvani.

Is it worth it....???

                                         F***K THIS SHIT ....

Is it worth it?? That’s what I’m asking myself right now cause I’m in a bubble that’s pretty different from my normal mental darkness . I’m even scared to say the word cause I may jinx whatever it is that’s happening right now. For those who may not be following up, the H word is happiness in this case. Not too long ago I wrote about how hard it is for me to understand the concept that is happiness and when exactly one can fully say they are happy with everything that’s going on for them. I’m yet to get there….still have a lot of demons who are allergic to    anything remotely good for me, therefore tend to bring out my not so favourite friend who goes by the name Anxiety.

Back face portrait

                                                                         Back Face portrait

Portraits are effective and compelling when they tell us something about the person. A good portrait is not just a visual representation of a person; it will also reveal something about the essence of the person.

A portrait painting or drawing depicts the image of a particular person or animal, or group thereof. The subject of a portrait is usually called a "sitter", because traditionally people would sit in front of the artist to have their portrait painted. Nowadays, of course, artists can work from a photograph, so not everyone has to "sit" for a portrait.

INDIAN CULTURE

                                                                                    INDIAN ART

MODERN INDIAN ART PAINTING

India has been a land of rich in culture and religion. Art has been an very integral force in our culture depicting various testimony to famous idols, landmarks and manuscripts. Going by time, there have been images that indicate the usage of artworks in various forms including decor, portraits across doorways, guest rooms. Some of the traditional painting also depict the historical significant elements of Ajanta & Ellora, Mughals, Indian Miniature, Love and other related elements. The evolution in art has been significant from traditional forms to modern elements influenced highly by evolving generations and globalization.

Indian painting has a very long tradition and history in Indian art, though because of the climatic conditions very few early examples survive......    A new style was introduced  with Mughal painting,   representing a fusion of the Persian miniature with older Indian traditions, and from the 17th century     its  style was diffused across Indian princely courts of all religions, each developing a local style.........
